Basically, CCNA (R&S) has been divided for 2 sections ICND1 and ICND2 to make it easier. I believe Two tests (ICND1 and ICND2) are easier then taking One Compact Test (CCNA Test). However, I recommend visiting Cisco website for more information, every new version of CCNA (R&S) books covers the most important Foundation Topics for either ICND1, ICND2, or CCNA Levels. Besides, don’t forget to download the Exam Topics Blue Print for both ICND1 and ICND2.
